Conference and Proceedings Titles

The conference series is officially titled International Conference of Asia Digital Art and Design Association. The conference is commonly abbreviated as “ADADA + Year.”

Following the partnership agreement with Cumulus in 2018, conferences organized under the collaborative framework have additionally adopted the abbreviated title “ADADA+CUMULUS + Year.”

The official title of the conference proceedings is Proceedings of the International Conference on Asia Digital Art and Design.

Conference Committees

Each annual conference maintains its own Program Committee, Review Committee, and Organizing Committee pages. Committee information for conferences from 2025 onward is available through the respective annual conference websites.

About the conference

The conference series has been continuously held annually since 2002, serving as an international platform for academic exchange in the fields of digital art, design, media technologies, interaction design, and related interdisciplinary research areas.

While the conference itself has a long-standing history, open access publication of the conference proceedings through J-STAGE began in 2025. Since then, papers presented at the conference have been formally published as open access proceedings with DOI assignment for each paper.

The submission and peer review process for international conferences may vary depending on the management structure of the year of the conference, but in principle the following guidelines and policies will be followed.
