ADADA Code of Ethics for Publisher
Publication Ethics and Research Integrity
The Asia Digital Art and Design Association (ADADA), as the publisher of the International Journal of Asia Digital Art and Design, is committed to maintaining high standards of publication ethics and research integrity.
The publisher works closely with the Editorial Committee to identify and prevent publication misconduct, including:
- Plagiarism
- Duplicate submission
- Fabrication or falsification of data
- Improper authorship
- Manipulation of the peer review process
- Copyright infringement
In cases of suspected or confirmed misconduct, the publisher and the Editorial Committee will take appropriate measures to investigate and resolve the matter.
Such measures may include:
- Rejection of manuscripts
- Publication of corrections or errata
- Publication of clarifications
- Issuing expressions of concern
- Retraction of published articles
The publisher does not knowingly encourage or permit unethical publishing behavior.
Editorial Independence
The publisher respects the editorial independence of the Editorial Committee.
Editorial decisions are made based on academic, artistic, technical, and ethical considerations and must not be influenced by commercial, political, institutional, or personal interests.
Access, Preservation, and Open Access
ADADA is committed to the long-term accessibility, preservation, and availability of published scholarly content.
The journal is published electronically via J-STAGE and supported by digital archiving and preservation systems to ensure continued public access to published articles.
Since 2025, newly published articles have been distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license.
The publisher supports open access dissemination of scholarly research and international academic exchange.
Confidentiality and Data Protection
The publisher respects the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts, peer review materials, and personal information obtained during the editorial and publication process.
Confidential information must not be disclosed or used for purposes unrelated to journal operation and publication management.
Corrections and Retractions
When significant errors, ethical concerns, or publication misconduct are identified in published articles, the publisher will cooperate with the Editorial Committee to publish corrections, clarifications, expressions of concern, or retractions when appropriate.
The publisher is committed to maintaining the integrity and reliability of the scholarly record.
