Paper Format and Paper Writing Guidelines
Please follow these guidelines when writing your papers.
ADADA International Journal / Proceedings Template
Please use the templates provided for each submission category when preparing your manuscript.
The division of Journals and Proceedings in ADADA is as follows. Please note that not all categories of Proceedings are necessarily open for submission. Additionally, calls for categories not listed here may be conducted on an experimental basis. In the International Conference, Technical Papers and Art Papers may be solicited as part of the Journal Track. In such cases, accepted papers will be included in the Journal as Original Articles and Art Papers, respectively.

Double-Blind Review and Anonymization
Journal
ADADA Journal adopts a double-blind peer review process. Authors must anonymize their submissions appropriately so that reviewers cannot easily identify the authors or their affiliations.
Please remove author names, affiliations, acknowledgements, and identifiable metadata from the review manuscript.
Proceedings
ADADA Conference Proceedings adopts a single-blind review process. Authors do not need to anonymize their submissions unless otherwise specified by the conference track or submission category.
Size, Color and Language
Use A4 paper size (210 x 297 mm) in black and white. All articles should be 6 up to ten (10) pages long, excluding references and be written in English.
First Page
The first page should include the following items : title, subtitle, author’s name, co-author’s name, e-mail address, institutional affiliation, the abstract and keywords. The body text should be set to 10-20mm spacing. Please write the person’s name in the following order, last name and first name, and then a comma between them(e.g. Obama, Barack H). The layouts of the first page are different between the Original Article and Art Paper. Please refer to each layout sample.
Fonts
Please use the following fonts.
- sans-serif (Helvetica and Helvetica Neue are preferable. Arial acceptable.) Title, Subtitle, First author, Co-authors, E-mail address and Institutional affiliation
- serif (Times and Times New Roman are preferable. Century acceptable.) Abstract, Keywords, Body text and Captions for figures and tables
Abstract
- Original Article / Technical Paper
- An abstract in English, limited to 200-300 words in a single paragraph is required in all cases. The abstract should contain a concise summary of the contents of the paper.

- Demo / Poster / Music
- An abstract in English, limited to 100-200 words in a single paragraph is required in all cases. The abstract should contain a concise summary of the contents of the paper.

- Art Paper
- Place an image of your artwork (width: 110mm) on the line below the title and the subtitle. Write abstract of 200-300 words in English, describing a concise summary of the contents of the paper. Please leave 5-10mm spaces between the Abstract and the image.

Keywords
Pick three words that best describe your article. Specifying 4 or more keywords or fewer than 3 keywords is not allowed.
Headline
The article should be classified under the following : big headlines, chapters, medium headlines, sections, subheads, paragraph. The text of article is usually divided into the following sections: introduction, method, discussion, summary, conclusion, etc. Please use bold-face fonts for headlines.
Caption
The space between figures(or tables) and body text should be 5-10mm. You can make figures span across more than one column. In this case, the figures should be placed on the top or bottom of the page. Put captions below pictures or above tables. All caption text should be written as such “Figure1 Title” with the figure number. Please place table captions above the table and figure captions below the figure. Captions must be referred to in the main text of the paper.
Incorrect use of figures and tables, such as using "figure" for non-diagrammatic elements or presenting tables as plain text or figures instead of proper table items, will lead to a desk reject.
Reference
All references should be cited in numerical order according to their order of appearance. Each reference number should be enclosed in square brackets[ ]. References must include the following elements. Please put a comma(,) between each of the elements. If you are using TeX, we strongly recommend using BibTeX.
