International Journal ADADA CONTRIBUTION REGULATIONS
“ADADA”is an international alliance consisting of several conferences. Our three major conferences are the following:
① Japan : ADADA Japan
② Korea : ADADA Korea, Society of Design Convergence Korea
③ Taiwan : Taiwan Association of Digital Media Design
“IJ-ADADA”is an acronym for “International Journal of ADADA”, international journal published by ADADA.
1. Regarding ADADA International Journal
-ADADA publishes international journal called “ADADA International Journal”.
-ADADA always accepts thesis contributions.
-Submission Schedule will be provided separately.-Author Guidelines will be provided separately.
-Submission Process will be provided separately.
-ADADA International Journal is published online as an electronic journal. Process of online publishing will be provided separately.
2. Qualifications for Submission
-Authors must be a member of the ADADA alliance.
3. Prohibition of Double Submission
-Submitted papers must be unpublished, and not submitted to another conference. In addition, papers including thesame contents must not be published in or contributed to other journals with quoting the name of the same author oranyone of the authors.
4. Language of Paper
-Papers must be written in English.
5. Category of Paper
The writer’s personal study related to any task of digital art and design, based on the media technology.The study should consider all the examinations and proposals theoretically and empirically.It should also be recognized for its originality and scientific value so that it can be worth sharing with other membersof the alliance and those who work with design.
Paper must be composed of the writer’s personal experiments and the results, relevant commentary, and relation todigital art and design.The study should display originality with its writing process, concept, representation and expression techniques.It should also be recognized for its worth to be shared with other members of the alliance and those who work withdesign.
6. Editorial Board of IJ-ADADA
-ADADA administers the Editorial Board of ADADA International.
-Editorial Board consists of the following members:Editorial Chairman (1 person)Vice Chairmen (2 people)Editors (15 people)
7. Final Approval
-The adoption of a submitted paper is made according to IJ-ADADA’s decision, and the author will be notified bythe chairman of Editorial Board when a decision has been made.
8. Peer Review
-Referring to 1 paper, there is 1 editor in charge and 2 examiners for screening.
-Editorial Board of IJ-ADADA designates 1 meta reviewer and 2 examiners to screen the submitted paper.
-Examiners screen the paper and report to the meta reviewer after stipulating the results and their opinions on adesignated report.
-Meta reviewer makes a decision whether to adopt the papers depending on acceptance of Editorial Board of IJ-ADADAand subsequently, reports to the chairman attaching details.
-The author will be notified by the chairman of Editorial Board when a decision has been made.
-In the case that the examiners agree on ‘adoption’, it will be decided as ‘adoption’.-In the case that the examiners agree on ‘non-adoption’, it will be decided as ‘non-adoption’.
-In the case that the examiners show a disagreement between ‘adoption’ and ‘non-adoption’, the meta reviewer willmake a decision on the basis of the Editorial Board’s acceptance.
-In the case that the examiner’s opinion is ‘conditional adoption’, the meta reviewer stipulates the condition foradoption based on the examined result, and will return it with the paper to the author through the chairman of theEditorial Committee requiring amendment and return.
-Referring to the author’s amendment, the main reviewer can call for re-examination by the examiners(one time only, when needed).
-In the case of no re-examination, ‘adoption’ this will be decided when the main reviewer concluded that theamendment meets the requirements properly.-Otherwise, ‘non-adoption’ will be determined.
-On the process of examination, Editorial Boards might propose a change of category.
9. Length of Paper
-All papers should be 6 to up to 10 pages.
10. Publication Fees
-Authors of published papers will be charged $100 for each article. This charge must be paid beforepublication(Electronic Journal)
11. Date of Reception
-Applications will be time and date stamped upon receipt. If revisions are necessary, revised plans are also dated andstamped upon receipt.
12. Date of Publication
-All papers that appear online are considered published. The date that appears online is the definitive publication date.
13. Copyrights and Others
-Copyrights of all the articles, including published papers, belong to ADADA.
-Moreover, in the case that the authors or the association he/she is required to use the paper without revising, titleof the journal, publication number, quoted pages, and date of publication should be specified without fail.
-All contents in the paper including texts and charts must not infringe others’ copyrights.
-Papers must not have any moral or ethical problems.
-All authors must agree before the paper is contributed.
